HOW DOES YOUR MEDIA PRODUCT REPRESENT PARTICULAR SOCIAL GROUPS?
For the detective being played by (Ollie Macnaughton), as a group we discussed the look and concept of who the detective should dress. We all agreed that he would look like a typical 1950's detective which fits in with the timeline this film is based in. We were looking for a typical detective hat, a long trench coat and a sharp suit underneath. This idea is influenced by the character played in (Shutter Island) by (Leonardo DiCaprio).
CLYDE BOGART:
Clyde Bogart is the main character of our movie who is a stereotypical 1950's detective. His role was inspired by the character (Jake Gittes) played by (Jack Nicholson) in the 1974 film chinatown. (Ollie Macnaughton) drew his inspiration from this actor and implemented this into his Clyde Bogart role. The Bogart character is meant to be cynical and sybaritic and only thinks about himself and has no concern for others. His greed seems to motivate him through jobs jobs that appeal to him.

ReplyDeleteI have opened this to see that you have made a good start. Add more detail to the written parts. Any other social groups to add? Ask me in class to show you how to make this link live.
ReplyDeleteYou should check your Pinterest as there are duplications. I would also think carefully about the images of clothes above. By all means transfer them to a 'Planning' post, as you were planning your characters' outfits. they have no place here: you have muddled what the question is about.
